Get to know Spencer
Spencer joined the InfoWorks Board in January 2022. He is the past president and Board member of Houchens Industries, Inc. Headquartered in Bowling Green, KY, it is one of the largest and most diversified 100% employee-owned companies in the United States. Houchens is a multifaceted company, with holdings in supermarkets, insurance, construction, manufacturing, franchise operations, pharmacies, and many other businesses.
Spencer has over 30 years of experience in accounting as well as extensive experience in business consulting and mergers and acquisitions practices. Over the years, Spencer has succeeded in diversifying the portfolio of many companies. He has served on numerous not-for-profit and philanthropic boards.
Life Outside the Office
His wife and he have been happily married for 53 years. They have been blessed with three children and ten grandchildren.
