Industry veteran brings business strategy and leadership experience to new role.

InfoWorks has added 20-year healthcare industry veteran Mark Wisniewski as a principal consultant to the Nashville-based management consulting firm. Wisniewski assumed his new responsibilities on March 1.

A seasoned healthcare executive with a focus on both inpatient and outpatient settings, Wisniewski’s career spans the healthcare industry, including specialties in business and technology strategy, electronic health record design and implementation, and advanced business intelligence. Wisniewski has guided healthcare businesses in the evolution from traditional fee-for-service to value-based and integrated care models as well as performing strategic business modeling and analysis. His information technology expertise enabled him to guide the development of innovative healthcare business intelligence initiatives.

For the past five years, Wisniewski has been an executive for a nationally recognized behavioral healthcare organization that integrates primary care into its psychiatric clinics, most recently as chief operating officer and, previously as chief information officer. In addition to Wisniewski’s consulting experience, additional experience includes leading information technology teams in both inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings.

“The depth of knowledge and experience that Mark brings to InfoWorks underscores our commitment to investing expertise in serving the healthcare industry,” said Rebecca Munn, vice president and managing director of healthcare services for InfoWorks. “Healthcare is more dynamic than ever before, and Mark’s leadership will be invaluable to our growing client base.”

With 30 consultants working on healthcare projects among its 100-member staff, InfoWorks has adapted to meet the needs of the healthcare industry, specifically the increasing focus on serving behavioral health organization needs. The employee-owned company’s clients are located primarily in the Middle Tennessee area; some also extend into the Southeast.

“I’ve worked with healthcare organizations to develop strategies aimed at helping clinicians provide the highest quality of care while reducing costs and maximizing reimbursement. I look forward to helping InfoWorks identify similar value for its clients,” Wisniewski said.

Wisniewski earned a master’s degree in business administration from Vanderbilt University’s Owen School of Management. He completed his undergraduate studies at Trevecca Nazarene University where he received a bachelor’s of arts degree in management and human relations.
