He leads five committees of the Board – audit, investment, executive, compensation, and nominating. His leadership has fostered a reputation for outstanding client service, employee satisfaction, and sustainable, profitable growth.
Throughout InfoWorks’ 25+ years in business, Jim has balanced company growth with employee and client satisfaction in a controlled manner, purposefully avoiding layoffs and maintaining a strong cash position. He also successfully transitioned InfoWorks into employee ownership in 2006 and led the formation of a partial ESOP in 2010 and 100% ESOP in December 2012.
Prior to forming InfoWorks, Jim spent 32 years with IBM in Nashville in various management and marketing positions.
Jim was born and raised in Nashville and enjoys spending time with his children and grandchildren. He has volunteered a lot of time over the years helping others in the community become successful in business and generously offers advice when approached by young entrepreneurs.
