Migrate users to an Azure-based authentication solution and establish a flexible data infrastructure.
Implementing the standardized authentication and authorization methods reduced the time and complexity of integrating third parties and enhanced data sharing capabilities, making them more competitive in the marketplace.
Our client wanted to perform more favorably against key competitors and increase member engagement by expanding interoperability to provide new capabilities to market. The new capabilities would streamline authentication methods and enhance data sharing across new and existing verticals.
Our team focused on three primary efforts: standardizing authentication and authorization methods across our client’s ecosystem, enhancing data sharing capabilities, and creating a UI/UX that supports expanded interoperability.
We created an API library that supports our client’s interests and built and successfully migrated users to a custom Azure-based authentication solution, saving our client money in manual configuration and development costs. Our developers built a flexible SAML data infrastructure which allows for adapting to data models, processing data, and learning as data is being processed, without crashing the system.
This custom solution standardizes authentication and authorization methods, as well as scales all customer, member, and internal employee Single Sign-On authentication methods (SAML, oAuth, and OIDC). We were able to reduce the time and complexity of integrating with third party applications as well as enable the capability to render external content allowing our client to better manage third party vendors.
