InfoWorks, an award-winning management consulting company, today announced Jigna Joshi, M.D. has joined the team as a healthcare consultant. Dr. Joshi, skilled in informatics with vast work experience as a physician liaison and EMR adoption consultant, will play an integral role in enabling InfoWorks’ healthcare practice to grow and meet the needs of Nashville’s healthcare industry.
“We are privileged to expand our healthcare expertise further with the addition of Dr. Joshi,” said InfoWorks Vice President and Managing Director of Healthcare Services, Rebecca Munn. “Dr. Joshi has a proven track record of advancing quality and safety through the application of process redesign, technology, evaluation techniques, and clinical quality program alignment, and her expertise will be an asset as we grow our business and continue to deliver results for the healthcare services practice.”
Prior to joining InfoWorks, Dr. Joshi provided subject matter expertise and consulted with other healthcare companies, most recently at Clinovations as a physician executive. She also served as a physician liaison and EMR trainer for LifeBridge Health, Shivakti Enterprises, and Bethany Bend Urgent Care.
“In this rapidly growing technology world, I have witnessed first-hand disconnects between physicians and their new workflow practices in the world of Electronic Health Records,” said Dr. Joshi. “My passion is to bridge that gap for clinicians, not only in the day-to-day workflow, but in having the right data available and actionable. I have a high regard for the culture of InfoWorks and look forward to joining the InfoWorks healthcare practice under the leadership of Rebecca Munn. We share the vision to grow the healthcare practice of InfoWorks with a strong clinical perspective.”
For two decades, InfoWorks has distinguished itself as a leader in Nashville and Middle Tennessee, providing innovative business and technology consulting services. Working alongside Practice Lead Rebecca Munn, Dr. Joshi will continue to provide informatics and clinical adoption expertise on a variety of client healthcare initiatives, including Electronic Health Record system adoption, most notably Cerner, EPIC, and Allscripts. InfoWorks sought to expand its healthcare practice capabilities to better help companies bridge the gap between clinical requirements and technology capabilities.
